Before your visit, you may be asked to provide details about your skin, health, medication and previous treatments. This helps us assess suitability and prepare for your appointment.
4. Attend Your Consultation
We discuss your concerns, assess your skin’s current condition and explain the treatment options most suited to your needs.

Meet Sheree Powell
I’m the founder of OriēnMir, a nurse-led skin and facial treatment practice where clinical knowledge meets restorative care and Jamaican-inspired ritual.
With more than 14 years’ experience as a surgical nurse, I have supported clients before and after surgery and developed a deep understanding of healing skin, pigmentation, scarring, uneven texture and the emotional impact of visible skin changes.
I created OriēnMir to offer a more thoughtful approach to skin health—one that begins by listening, assessing and understanding before attempting to correct.
My work is especially suited to clients with melanin-rich skin and concerns such as pigmentation, dryness, sensitivity, post-acne marks and uneven tone.
Rooted in my Jamaican upbringing, where botanical oils, bathing rituals and self-care were expressions of love, each treatment brings together clinical insight, restorative touch and deeply personalised care.
My aim is to help you feel comfortable, cared for and confident in your skin again.

New clients and anyone unsure about their skin should begin with the Skin Strategy Consultation. This allows us to understand your concerns before recommending treatment.
OriēnMir has a particular interest in melanin-rich complexions. Every treatment is personalised, with careful consideration given to sensitivity, inflammation and the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Products are only recommended when they have a clear role in your treatment or maintenance plan. You will not be encouraged to purchase an excessive routine.
This depends on the treatment selected and your skin’s response. Any expected downtime, preparation or aftercare will be explained before you proceed.
Results vary according to your concern, skin condition, treatment pathway and consistency with aftercare. Some clients notice an early improvement in softness or hydration, while concerns such as pigmentation and texture generally require more time.
Please disclose all relevant health information before treatment. Some treatments may need to be adapted, postponed or approved by your medical professional.
You will be told honestly. An alternative may be recommended, or you may be advised not to proceed until it is safer to do so.
Appointments require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full before attending your appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 72 hours’ notice. Full details can be found in our Appointment Policy.
